| DOROTHY ALFORD MATTHEWS, 64, of Barbourville, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 1999 in the Knox County Hospital. She was the widow of Luther C. Matthews and the daughter of the late Clyde and Effie Collins Alford. Funeral services were held in the Oldham, Roberts and Powell Funeral Home in Richmond on Saturday, January 30 at 11 a.m. with the Bro. Bill Rose officiating. She was laid to rest in the Pilot Knob Cemetery in Madison County. This is a courtesy announcement from the Knox Funeral Home of Barbourville. |
