| DR. JEAN LETCH, 75, formerly of Barbourville, passed away Saturday, March 6, 1999 in Akron, Ohio. She was the daughter of Effie Ferneau Letch and the late George Glen Letch born to them in Montour, Iowa on November 16, 1923. She was a former professor at Union College and a member of the Barbourville First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her mother, Effie Ferneau Letch. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 27 at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Dr. Jean Letch Education Award at Union College. |
