Don LAWSON Don �Pete� Lawson, 67, of Barbourville, passed away in Knox County Hospital Thursday, May 25, 2006. He was a son of the late James Curtis and Millie Marion Lawson. He was a member of Sinking Valley Baptist Church and a coal miner. He is survived by his wife Wanda Lawson; two sons, Allen Ray Lawson and Bobby Ray Lawson; one grandson; one sister, Mary Reece; five brothers, Thomas Lawson and wife Wilma, Billy Joe Lawson and wife Thelma, Jack Luther Lawson and wife Brenda, Enoch Lawson and wife Kathy and James Horton and wife Barbara. Services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Monday, May 29 with the Revs. Johnny Fisher, Vernon Morris and Garrett Garland officiating. Burial was in Hammons Cemetery at Girdler. |
