Bertha Lee KING Bertha Lee King, 98, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Knox County, passed away Friday, June 2, 2006 in the Twin Towers Retirement Center in Cincinnati. She was a daughter of the late Rev. Robert T. and Anna Elizabeth Creasy Goodman. Her husband, George Franklin King, preceded her in death. She was a retiree from Greyhound Food Service and was of the Pentecostal faith. She is survived by three daughters, Julia M. Smiley, Ann Elizabeth Beard and Bertha Olivia Farris and husband William; one son, George F. King Jr. and wife Vera; one sister, Nell Fultz; one daughter-in-law, Shirley King; one sister-in-law, Reba Goodman;16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren. Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Monday, June 5 with the Rev. Robert D. King Jr. officiating, Burial was in Mayhew Cemetery. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
