| ROBERT DENVER KENNEDY, 52, of Lily, passed away Friday afternoon, June25, 1999 in the Marymount Medical Center in London. He was the son of Laura Neal Kennedy Cooper and the late Dewey Kennedy born on March 31, 1947 in Greenwood. Through the years, he enjoyed working with foreign exchange students. On September 7, 1966, he united in marriage with Carolyn Blankenship in Indianapolis, Indian. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn of Lily; his mother, Laura Neal Cooper of Corbin. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the Corbin Funeral Home Monday, June 28 at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Wilmer Evans officiating. A graveside service followed at the Barren Fork Cemetery in Whitley City at 6 p.m. Casketbearers were family and friends of Mr. Kennedy. Knox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
