| THELMA JEAN KEENE, 59, of Middletown, Ohio was born December 15, 1940 in Richmond, Indiana and departed this life Tuesday, July 4, 2000 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Ernest McDaniel and Ola Carpenter. Survivors include three children, Karen Keene of Riverside, Calif., Rita Kay Harmond of Williamstown and Kimberly Ann Graham of Middletown, Ohio; three sisters, Joyce Reeves of Corbin, Marie Hicks of East Bernstadt and Wilma Liffler of Berea; one step-brother, Gary Vickers of Berea; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted in the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee on Friday, July 7 at 2 p.m. Burial followed in the Red Hill Cemetery in Rockcastle County.
