Irene Elam Keene Irene Elam Keene, 78, of Gray, passed away Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005 in Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was a daughter of the late Walter and Ida Owens Elam. Her husband, Jess Keene, preceded her in death. She was a member of Living Waters Pentecostal church where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was a former custodian for the Ohio School System. She is survived by her mother, Ida Johnson; two daughters, Doris Keene and Bobby Angel; two sons, Vernon Keene and Harold Keene and wife Ginger; two brothers, Kenneth Elam and wife Leona and Jim Elam and wife Mary Lou; five sisters, Lola Linville, Ethel Barnes, Tina Jones and husband Haskel, Joy Watson, Norma Warren and husband Woodrow; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. Services were conducted at Living Waters Pentecostal Church, at Gray, Sunday, Jan. 9 with the Revs. Charlie Humfleet, Kenny Johnson and Lonnie Collett officiating. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
