| WILLIAM STANLEY JONES, 66, of Whitesburg, the son of the late Green Thomas and Martha (Broughton) Jones passed away Sunday, July 9, 2000 in the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Housing Care Center. He was born to them on March 22, 1934. He is survived by a host of many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, July 12 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Conrad Profitt, the Rev. Tim Allen and the Rev. Jabo Miles officiating. He was laid to rest in the Hampton Cemetery at Girdler. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements. |
