Floyd Jones, 85, Corbin, passed away Monday, September 1, 2003 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center. He was born July 4, 1918 in Whitley County to the late Jim and Ollie Worley Jones. He was a retired truck driver for Dixie Ohio Express. Survivors include two daughters, Aileen Jones and Phylis McCoy, both of Corbin; four sons, Johnny, Jack, Jerry and Paul Jones, all of Corbin; one brother, Emerson Jones of Corbin; two sisters, Judy Bunch and Lillian Christopherson of Corbin; and a special caregiver, Vina Conley. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 3 at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery. O'Neil Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. |
