Emerson R. Jones Corbin October 20, 2003 Emerson R. Jones, 82, of Corbin, passed away, Monday, Oct. 20, 2003, at the Heritage Nursing Home. Among his survivors are his wife, Mildred Jones of Corbin; two daughters, Anna Cox of Corbin and Carol Ward and her husband, Arnold Z. of Corbin; one son, Dallas E. Jones of Rising Sun, Ind.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lillian Christopherson of Corbin and Judy Bunch of Fort Mitchell, S.C.; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at 11 a.m. in the Corinth Cemetery with the Rev. Thurmond Taylor officiating. The pallbearers will be his grandsons and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, Ohio, 44720. The family has entrusted the Hart Funeral Home with all arrangements. Notice entered Tuesday, October 21, 2003. |
