Charles R. JONES Charles R. Jones, 68, of Minok, Ill. formerly of South Lyon, Mich. and Woollum in Knox County, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006 at his home. He was a son of the late Charlie and Gladys Tuggle Jones. He was a retired millwright of Michigan Seamless Tube Company Quanex and a former chairman of the bargaining committee of the United Steel Workers of America Local 1900. He is survived by his wife, Genelada Pugh Jones; two sons, Tony Becky and Jerry; three sisters, Bettie Jo Miller, Nancy White and Beverly Ann Hudson; one brother, Eddie Jones; four grandchildren; and one great grandson. Services were held Saturday, Feb. 4 at the First Baptist Church of South Lyon. Burial was in South Lyon Cemetery. This has been a courtesy of Knox Funeral Home. |
