Nannie Bays Johnson Nannie Mariam Bays Johnson, 94, of Barbourville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005 in Corbin Nursing Home. She was a daughter of the late William J. and Sennie McDonald Bays. Her husband, Custer Johnson, preceded her in death. She was a member of Davis Bend Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Betty S. Baker; sons B.P. Johnson and wife Mollie, Carl W. JOhnson and wife Linda, Jack B. Johnson and wife Janet and William C. Johnson and wife Betty; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and several great, great grandchildren; one brother, Carl E. Bays; one sister, Bea Ford. Services were conducted Saturday, Feb. 5 in Hopper Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Mike Helton and Gene Hubbs officiating. Burial was in Warfield Cemetery on Walker Park Road. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
