Richard James Richard "Dick" James, 74, of Barbourville, passed away Friday, Dec. 31., 2004 in Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. He was a son of the late Henry and Martha James. He was a member of East Barbourville Baptist Church, a Korean Conflict veteran and a former truck driver. He is survived by his wife Louise Owens James; one son, Richard James Jr. and wife Sharon; one daughter, Vicky Manard and husband Jack; two brothers, Homer James and wife Ida, Howard James and wife Verona; four sisters, Irene Daly and husband John, Eleanor Gribbon and husband Jim, Eloise Christie and husband Ed, Annie May Myers and husband Frank; three grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Charles E. Owens; one sister-in-law, Vera Moore. Services were conducted Monday, Jan. 3 at East Barbourville Baptist Church with the Rev. James Vandy officiating. Burial was in Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
