Oscar L. Dickie Jackson, 62, of Frakes, a son of the late Oscar Jackson and Marie Mills Jackson, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at his home. He was a veteran of the Air Force and a deacon of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Deleonn Jackson. Later, he united in marriage with Dorothy Partin Jackson.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Partin Jackson; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Bays and husband Keith, Anjanette Raines and husband Mike; stepchildren, Wayland Partin Jr. and wife Terri Sue, Timothy Partin and wife Debbie, Lester Hugh Partin and wife Kathy; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild; his mother, Cleo Jackson; sisters, Semone Landon and husband Pete, Joyce Catoe; a stepsister, Carolyn Monhollen.

Services were conducted Friday at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Revs. Truman Partin and Terry Cox officiating. Burial was in Binghamton Cemetery at Dewitt. Creech Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. This is a courtesy announcement of Hopper Funeral Home.
