| GLENN BERNIE JACKSON, 80, of Cannon, passed away Friday, August 13, 1999 in the Knox County Hospital. He was the son of the late Henry Ward Beecher Jackson and Gussie McWilliams Jackson born to them at Cannon on November 10, 1918. retired vocational education teacher, a well known Knox County farmer and a carpenter as well as a past president of the Barbourville Kiwanis Club and Barbourville Chamber of Commerce. Funeral services were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, August 15 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Douglas, the Rev. Shane Nickell and Dr. Warren Robbins officiating. Burial followed in the Jones Hurst Cemetery at Cannon. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
