James HIGGINS James Higgins, 79, of Heidrick, died Monday, April 3, 2006 at the Knox County Hospital. He was born June 22, 2926, and was the son of Jason Higgins and Fannie Sampson Higgins. He was preceded in death by wife Lois Smith Higgins, and his parents. He was retired from the Barbourville Water and Electric, and was of the Protestant belief. Survivors include one sister, Imogene Higgins of Michigan, a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 6. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ricky Partin officiating. Burial will follow in the Obie Mills Cemetery at Hammond, Kentucky. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. |
