Daw HENSON Daw Henson Jr., 78, of Smokey, was born on June 29, 1928 in Knox County to Daw Henson Sr. and Sallie Martin Henson and passed away July 8, 2006. Survivors include two sons, Keith Henson and wife Phyllis ; Lonnie Henson and wife Gloria; one daughter, Carolyn Buttery and husband Archie; two stepdaughters, Janice Bohart and husband Jerry.; Betty Napier; one brother, Charles Langdon Henson; two sisters, Doris Rice; Dorothea Lang; 22 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 1 Great-great grandchild and 1 great nephew, Joshua Isaiah Brown. Funeral services were conducted July 11, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Tanyard Cemetery at Smokey. |
