Agnes Helton

Agnes M. Helton, 64, 308 Vaught St., Somerset, died Tuesday, July 2 at Humana Hospital-Lake Cumberland, following a short illness.

A Wyoming, Ohio, native she was born Aug 2, 1926, daughter of the late Zora Robert and LIda Mabel Adkins Delk.  She was a retired seamstress for Palm Beach Company and a member of East Somerset Baptist Church

Her husband, Roy D Helton, whom she marrie May 17, 1969 died Aug 17, 1969.

Survivors, include a stepson, Kirby Helton, DeLand, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs Johnny (Jean) Dye, Bethelridge and Joanna Phelps, Somerset; a brother, James Delk, Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Ruby White, Seminole, Fla;  six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Eulanda Sue Walker; a brother, Wayne Delk; and a sister, Margaret Erp.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today at East Somerset Baptist Church wit the Rev. Robert Branch officiating.

Buriel will be in Greenwood Cemetery

Morris and Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
