| CHARLES K. HAMPTON, 66, of Barbourville, was born in Knox County on September 21, 1933, died Saturday, March 11, 2000 at his residence. He was the son of the late Simm Hampton Sr. and Virginia Logan Hampton. Funeral services were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 15 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Denvil Taylor officiating. Burial followed in the Hampton Cemetery at Swan Pond. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
