Rita TUGGLE HAMMONS Rita Tuggle Hammons, 59, of Heidrick, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005 in Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was a daughter of the late Ernest Tuggle and Lucy Miller Tuggle. Her husband, Jack Harlan Hammons, preceded her in death. She attended the Heidrick Holiness church and was the owner and operator of Rita�s Consignment Shop in Heidrick. She is survived by two sons, Ernest Anthony �Tony� Hammons and wife Dede and Mark Lindsey Hammons and wife Michelle; seven grandchildren; her stepmother, Venna Sowders Tuggle; her brothers, Randall �Hoss� Tuggle and wife Jip, Jack Ketchum and wife Ann and many other dear brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Friday, Dec. 23 with the Revs. Tommy Frazier, Mervial Newman and James Vandy officiating. Burial was in Doolin Cemetery at Heidrick. Arrangements were by Hopper Funeral Home. |
