Beaulah Mae Frost Hammons

Mrs. Beaulah Mae Frost Hammons, 83, of Georgetown and formerly of Knox County, the daughter of the late John Clifton Frost and Sally Elizabeth Troutman Frost, passed away at her residence Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003. Her husband Evie Eslie Hammons Jr. preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Mildred Marie Higgins and husband Russ of Louisville; her sons, Terry Douglas Hammons and wife Joyce of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Jack Harlan Hammons and wife Rita of Corbin, John Clifton Hammons and wife Dianna of Georgetown; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, Feb. 26 with the Rev. James Vandy officiating. Burial was in Barbourville Cemetery. The Hammons family have requested that contributions may be made to the East Barbourville Baptist Church or to the Kidney Foundation in memory of Beaulah Mae Frost Hammons. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge or arrangements.
