Thomas Gregory, 82, of Gray, a son of the late Roger and Nellie Trent Gregory, passed away at his home Friday, July 4, 2003. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church and a former coal miner.

He is survived by his wife, Emma Jo Gregory of Gray; one daughter, Penny Cox of Versailles; one son, Tom Gregory Jr. and wife Carleton of Borden, Ind.; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles "Little Rog" Gregory and wife Jenny of Flat Lick, Fred Gregory and wife Rosalie of Four Mile; three sisters, Marie Broughton and husband Bill of Charlestown, Ind., Veda Wilson of Wartburg, Tenn., Nellie "Bud" Smith of Louisville.

Services were conducted Monday, July 7, 2003 in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Barnard officiating. Burial was in Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangments.
