John Stephen Goodin, 41, of Ingram and formerly of Knox County, the son of Ishmal and Eula Reed Goodin, passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003 at Middlesboro Appalachian Hospital. He was a member of Centennial Baptist Church and had worked for Chuck's Construction.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Diane Singleton Goodin; children, Stephanie Amanda Goodin and John Harold Goodin; brothers, Paul Wayne Cindy Goodin and Phillip Tammy Goodin, all of Ingram; mother-in-law Mable Charles.

Services were conducted Tuesday at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. George Peace and the Rev. Keith Bays officiating. Burial was in the Ben Goodin Cemetery at Ingram. Arrangements were under the direction of Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville. This is a courtesy announcement from Knox Funeral Home.
