Vestal W. "Billy" Gibbins, Jr., 31, Lake Orion, Michigan, passed away Friday, July 26, 2002 at his home. Survivors include two daughters, Paige Gibbins and Meagan Gibbins of Troy, Michigan; two sons, Devon Gibbins of Troy, Michigan and Tyler Street of Warren, Michigan; his parents, Vestal Gibbins Sr. of Troy, Michigan and Wanda Arlene Rose Brown of Lake Orion, Michigan; one sister, Laura Gibbins Smith and husband, James of Warren, Michigan; one nephew, Cody Smith; maternal grandparents, Al and Ora Rose of Ferndale, Michigan; paternal grandfather, Tom Gibbins of Hazel Park, Michigan; four aunts and seven uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Gustava Petrey Rose and Hazel Earls Gibbins. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1 at the Jones & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 2 at the Jones & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Clay Canada and Rev. Manuel Meadors will officiate. Burial will follow in the Canadatown Cemetery. Jones & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. |
