| GRACIE SMITH GAMBREL, 86, of Flat Lick, passed away Monday, May 24, 1999 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Marcum and Carrie Cole Smith born on January 28, 1913 in Knox County. February 19, 1935, she united in marriage with Sam Gambrel. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Thursday, May 27 at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Partin officiating. She waslaid to rest in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro. Knox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
