BARBOURVILLE - HAROLD FISHER, 73, Trace Branch, retired core driller, World War II veteran, died yesterday. Services 2 p.m. Friday, Hampton Funeral Home. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Thursday.

HAROLD FISHER, 73, of Trace Branch, was born on February 21, 1926 in Knox County and departed this life on Monday, September 20, 1999 in the Marymount Hospital in London. He was the son of the late Finley and Elizabeth (Helton) Fisher. He was a veteran of WWII. In 1947, he united in marriage with Florine Gross. Survivors include Florine Fisher of Dearborne Heights, Mich.. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, September 24 at 2 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Fisher and the Rev. Bobby Abner officiating. Burial followed in the Fisher Cemetery at Trace Branch. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
