Edward Amos Evans, age 62, born Nov. 9, 1909 died Thu. 2 Mar 1972 after
a long illness. He was a son of the late J.G. Evans and Lizzie Logan
Evans. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Bennett Evans; one daughter, Mrs Bessie Mae Gibson; two brothers, Lewis and Levi Evans, half brother Nathaniel Wilder, three sisters, Hattie Evans, Mrs. John Stafford and Mrs. S.M. Mayne and two grand children. One grandson had preceded him in death. Funeral services were conducted at the Shadle Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Evans Cemetery. |
