Dorothy Callebs Evans, 86, of Barbourville, passed away Thursday, Jan 19, 2006 in the Christain Health Center in Corbin. She was a daughter of the late Elijah Callebs and Mary Ellen Jones Callebs and the wife of the late Hoyt "Toy" Evans. She was a member of East Barbourville Baptist Church. She is survived by four sons, Eddie Evans and wife Zelma, Larry Joe Evans, David Evans and wife Becky, and Mike Evans. Three daughters; Madge Carnes and husband McCoy Carnes Jr., Charlotte Click and Karen Moore and husband Ronnie., eight grandchildren; one sister; Anna D. Jones, three brothers; Glenn Callebs, Jackie Coffey and Riley Coffey. Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Monday, Jan 23, 2006 with the Revs. James Vandy and Denvil Taylor officiating. Burial was in Callebs Cemetery in Laurel Co., Ky., Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
