| ROBERT E. DUNAWAY, 78, of Wheeler, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 1999 in the Knox County Hospital. He was the son of the late William and Catherine Hopkins Dunaway born to them on December 23, 1920 at Clearfield, Tennessee. He was the husband of the late Nora Dunaway. He was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran. Funeral services were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 16 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jerry Sams and the Rev. Leamon Merida officiating. Burial followed in the Dunaway Family Cemetery at Wheeler. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
