| GOLDIE BEATRICE COBB DELONG, 71, of Barbourville, passed away Friday, December 18, 1998 in the Claiborne County Hospital in Tazewell, Tenn.She was the daughter of the late Dewey and Lucy Smith Cobb.She was a homemaker and a former nurse and dog groomer. She united in marriage with Leon Harold DeLong. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Monday, December 21 at 2 p.m. with the Revs. John Gibbons, William R.Cobb and Ellis Smith Jr. officiating. Burial followed in the W.H. Smith Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may go to the Shriners Hospitals for Children at 1900 Richmond Road, Lexington, KY 40502 in loving memory of Mrs. DeLong.Knox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
