Cora V. Gross Castle, 94, of Cumberland, Ky., the daughter of the late James Franklin Gross and Sarah Chadwell Gross, passed away at the home of her daughter in Louisville on Feb. 8, 2003. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Cumberland. Her husband, Charles preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughters, Faye Bullock of Warren, Mich., Aileen Weldon and husband Franklin of Louisville; her son, Ronald Ray Castle and wife Jean of Severn, Md; her seven grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003 with the Rev. Donald Doby and the Rev. Barry Leonard officiating. Burial was in McDonald Cemetery at Trace Branch. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
