Mrs. Elizabeth L. Jackson Carty, 78, of Charlotte, Tenn, the daughter of the late William Jackson and Helen Nolan Jackson, passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003 in Dickson County, Tenn. She believed in the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kenneth Carty.

She is survived by two sons, Bill Carty and wife Sharon of Charlotte, Tenn. and Pat Carty and wife Judy of Colorado Springs, Col.; one brother, Lloyd Jackson of Santa Barbara, Calif.; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003 with the Rev. Jimmy Siler officiating. Burial was in Carty Cemetery at Girdler. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
