Wealtha Carnes, 89, of Walker, passed away Sunday, Jan 15, 2006 in the Oak Tree Hospital in Corbin, Ky. She was a daughter of the late Mitchell Carnes Sr. and Cordia Smith Carnes. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She is survived by four nieces, Joyce Helton, Judy Ann Burnette and husband Rondall, Rowena Fitch and husband Larry and Alma Ballinger; one nephew, Mac Arthur Carnes; two sisters-in-law, Mary Ida Carnes and Helen Carnes. Services were conducted Thursday Jan 19, 2006 in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Earl Hammons and Charles Carnes officiating. Burial was in the Mitchell Carnes Family Cemetery at Walker. Hampton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. |
