| PARKER CARNES, 87, of Flat Lick, was born on July 5, 1911 and passed away Tuesday, May 11, 1999 in the Knox County Hospital. He was the son of the late Bundy and Allie Carnes. He was united in marriage with Laura Belle Taylor. Laura preceded him in death and in 1978,Parker united in marriage with Carrie Hale. Survivors include his wife Carrie Carnes of Flat Lick. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, May 4 in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mervial Newman, the Rev. James Mooneyham andthe Rev. B.R. Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Henry Mills Cemetery at Road Fork.Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
