Dorothy Lee Carnes Dorothy Lee Carnes, also known as Aunt Dot, formerly of Knox County, a daughter of the late George and Mossie Bargo Carnes, passed away Friday, May 7, 2004. She was a member of Walker Baptist Church and Sunday school teacher. She is survived by two sisters, Edna Messer of Walker and Evelyn Warren of Arjay; her brothers and sisters-in-law, McCoy and Doxie Carnes, George Jr. and Lena Carnes, all of Walker, Cloyd and Rosie Carnes of Williamsburg and sister-in-law Gladys Carnes of New Lebanon, Ohio. She is also survived by a special niece, Kathy Warren of Pineville, with whom she made her home with for the past 10 years. Services were conducted Monday at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. Millard Robbins officiating. Burial was in the Carnes Family Cemetery at Walker.
