Ray Caldwell, 79, Keavy, passed away Monday, July 21, 2003 at his daughter's residence in Corbin. He was a retired paper mill operator.

Survivors include one son, Dudley Caldwell of Kansas; two daughters, Marquetta Collins and husband, Mark of Corbin and Judy Kirby of Indiana; one sister, Viola Martin of Florida; also several special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Doshia Simpson Caldwell; his brothers, Boyd, Levi, Cornelius, Fred and Chester; and his sisters, Senora Simpson and Callie Hudson.

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 24 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Storms officiating. Burial was in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
