Those were pictures in an old suitcase that my parents had for many years. So they were either friends or relatives. My parents were born and raised on Harp's Creek so most likely that area or that county, which I think is Whitley. The first picture, the one of the family standing by the house, might be Barboursville. My sister was in a different picture beside that same house with those same girls and she was 3 or 4 years old, and she thinks they lived in Barboursville then, so that would be around 1950.
