Court of Appeals of Kentucky ROARK v. COMMONWEALTH Feb. 7, 1896 Blev. Roark was convicted of violating the liquor laws, and appeals. Reversed. PAYNTER, J. For the reasons given in the opinion in Brown v. Com. (delivered to-day), this case is reversed, with direction that a new trial be granted the accused, and that the indictment be dismissed. ***Transcriber notes ****I am not sure what happened in the Brown V. Commonweath to overturn this case. I have yet to come across the Brown Case. |
