Revolutionary War Pension Application of Frederick Zimmerman State of Kentucky Jessamine County |

Know all men by these present that I, Morton Zimmerman, of Jessamine County, Kentucky, administrator of the estate of Judith Bourn, deceased, formerly widow of Frederick Zimmerman, deceased, who was a soldier in the service of the United States in ---- Regiment Virginia Line in the war of the Revolution as set forth in my foregoing declaration, do hereby with full power of Substitution appoint C.H. Barkley of Louisville, Kentucky my true and lawful attorney for me and in my name as administrator aforesaid and prosecute against the United States Government before any Department thereof any claim for pension money to which I may be entitled as administrator aforesaid on account of the above named Revolutionary service of said Frederick Zimmerman. And I hereby revoke the former power of attorney given by me in this case for the reason that I can get no report on the appreciation or even information whether the same has been filed or not. My attorney mentioned above is authorized to do all lawful acts and deeds in this behalf and --- receive my pension certificate when opened. Witness my hand and seal in Jessamine County, Kentucky on this 28th day of December 1854. |
