Mr. W.P. Anderson is some better at this writing. Mr.. and Mrs. Voda Mae Tincher was visiting Mr. and  Mrs. Betty York Sunday.

Mr. Felix York, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Smith and family was visiting Mr. and Mrs. Charlie York Sunday.

Mr. S.S. Forman and F.G. York was the Sunday evening guest of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Anderson.

Mr. and Mrs. George Hale was visiting her parents over the weekend. Mrs. Maria Gibson and son of Cincinnati, Ohio was visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Delbert York over the weekend.

Miss Betty Rose and Zethel Anderson was visiting Rinda York Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Perry Pennington and children was visiting Mr. and Mrs. Mahala Pennington Saturday evening.

Mrs. Bond is still improving at this writing. Mrs. Hubert Robinson was the Saturday guest of Mrs. Gracie and Catherine McQueen.

Mrs. Rhoda (?) York, was visiting Mrs. Minnie Anderson Thursday. Mr. Stevie Forman was visiting his sister Mrs. Linda Anderson Sunday.

Mrs. Ponder is about the same at this writing.

Indian Creek News

Several from this place attended Church and baptismal services at Maulden Sunday.

Miss Nell Isaacs who was operated on for appendicitis at the Berea hospital has returned home and is getting along fine.

Mrs. Arlene Gabbard who has been very sick this past week is reported some better.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Gabbard and children were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Sparks of Sand Lick.

Miss Mildred Baker returned home Sundaf after a weeks visit with Mr. and Mrs. Warren Smith of Livingston, Ky.

Mr. and Mrs. Job Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Ova Johnson and daughter Lois were Sunday guests of  Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Clay.

Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Cole and Mrs. Catherine Cole of Richmond, Indiana spent the weekend with home folks.

Mr. and Mrs. Grant Lakes were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cap Cunnagin of Bond Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. T. Harrison and children and Lloyd Isaacs of Waneta spent Sunday with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Roberts.

Mr. George McCollum still continues poorly.

Rev. W.E. Sears and sons Denton and Billie, Mr. Charles Collins and son, and Mr. Leonard Moore of McKee attended Sunday School at this place Sunday.

Mrs. Donie Philipps is spending a few weeks vacation with Mrs. Calista Isaacs of Waneta.

Mr. and Mrs. Hermon Hundley and daughters Claudie and Crystal of Berea spent the weekend with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Shade Slone.

15-Pound Baby Born To Mt. Vernon Woman

Stanford, Ky. May 6 -- Dr. Julian Wright said today that Mrs. A.B. Thomason, 41, of Mt. Vernon, Ky., gave birth in a Stanford hospital today to a baby boy weighing 15 pounds, 15 1/2 ounces. He said the mother, wife of a railroad section foreman, weighed 340 pounds and that this was her 13th child. The motrer and baby were reported doing well. Dr. Wright and Dr. George Griffith of Mt. Vernon attended Mrs. Thomason and both said it was the biggest baby at birth they had seen. Dr. Wright said particular care was taken to make an accurate account of the baby's weight.

Rowland Child Doing Well

The report received here Wednesday night that Fred, the 7-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rowland, of McKee, was dead was not true, and it is not known why such a report was given out. The child underwent an operation for appendicitis at the Gibson hospital in Richmond, Ky., last Tuesday week, and is reported by his mother this morning as doing well, and will probaly be home by Sunday.

MACEDONIA NEWS

Mr. and Mrs. Howard McQueen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Sparks and family, Mr. and Mrs. F.W. Gabbard and family all went fishing Sunday to Lake Rheba at Richmond,Ky.

Mr. Charlie Marcum and family have moved here from Turkey Foot and is selling goods.

Mr. and Mrs. Schecengost and family have also moved here from Turkey Foot to the Craig McFarland farm here.

Mr. Preston Parrett and family have moved to the Kan Sparks farm.

There are several new houses going up here.

It was reported here last Saturday that the animal running loose in the Pond school section was a vicious shepherd dog.
