James "Jumbo" Webster - 1925-2006
James "Jumbo" Webster, 81, of Greenup, Ky., entered into eternal rest
on Monday, May 8, 2006, in Vanceburg Rehabilitation and Health Center.
Mr. Webster was born April 23, 1925, in Vanceburg, Ky., a son of the
late Jim Webster. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife,
Lucy Mae Webster. He was a self-employed laborer. Surviving are three
daughters, Mary Lou Stern and Virgie Ann Gaston, both of Flatwoods, and
Lena Mae Polzin of Greenup County, Ky.; five sons, Phillip Webster of
Greenup, William Richard Webster of Lapeer, Mich., James Elmer Webster
of Imlay City, Mich., Raymond Webster of Laurel, Ky., and Anthony Ray
Webster of Athens, Ala.; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at Evans
Funeral Home in Raceland, Ky. Burial will be in Stewart Cemetery in
Argillite, Ky. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral
home.
Hubert Worthington
(1942-2006)
Hubert M. Worthington, 64, of South Shore, died Monday from injuries he
received in an automobile accident in South Shore.He was born Feb. 3,
1942, in Lewis County. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Roberson
Funeral Home in South Shore. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in
South Shore. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and after 11 a.m.
Friday at the funeral home.
