Gloria Jean Terry - 1936-2006
Gloria Jean Terry, 69, of Flatwoods, Ky., died Sunday, May 7, 2006, in
Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. She was born Oct. 7, 1936, in
Flatwoods, a daughter of the late Charles and Madge L. Corbin Willis.
She was a member of First Apostolic Church in Flatwoods and a
homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles G.
Terry Sr., in December 2000; and a brother, Elbert L. Willis. She is
survived by two sons, Keith Allen Terry of Huntington, W.Va., and
Charles G. Terry Jr. and his wife, Pamela, of Greenup, Ky.; a daughter,
Betty Kay Ferguson and her husband, Terry, of Raceland, Ky.; six
sisters, Leosa Riffe, Nellie Huffman, Debbie Smith and Ruth Pickett,
all of Flatwoods, Norma Lunsford of Russell, Ky., and Alberta Kirk of
Ashland, Ky.; two brothers, Joe Willis of Flatwoods and John Willis of
Ashland, Ky.; eight grandchildren, Ashley Abrams, Chris Terry, Jeremy
Terry, Michael Terry, Dalton Terry, Gaylyn Terry, Alex Terry and Chad
Terry; and two great-grandchildren, Dillon Terry and Dustin Terry.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at Rose
Hill Mausoleum with Pastor Harold McKenzie officiating. Burial will be
in Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call from noon to 1:45 p.m.
Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland.
