Wayne Dyer
(1924-2006)
Wayne Dyer, 81, of South Shore, Ky., went to be with his Lord on
Monday, May 1, 2006, at his residence. He was born in Greenup County,
Ky., Nov. 10, 1924, a son of the late James L. Dyer and Eva Jane Parker
Dyer.He was a retired farmer.Surviving are two sisters, Bernice Dyer
and Wanda Lee Dyer, both of South Shore; a nephew, Rocky Dyer; a niece,
Jolene Distel; and a great-niece, Michelle Ward. Preceding him in death
were two sisters, Thelma Karcher and Inez Martin; and three brothers,
Paul Dyer, Forrest Dyer and Winfred Dyer. Funeral services will be at 1
p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2006, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore
with the Rev. John Hamilton, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion
Cemetery on Ky. 1, South Shore.Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today
and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
