Almyria Abrams    1928-2006
Almyria Abrams, 78, of Portsmouth, Ohio, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 5, 2006, in the golden Years Convalescent Center in Portsmouth.  Mrs. Abrams was born Feb. 1, 1928, in Greenup County, Ky., a daughter of the late Alfred and Sarah French Loper. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Vola Durm, and one brother, Coleman Loper. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith. Surviving are a niece whom she raised, Judith Abrams of Portsmouth; two sisters, Floria Loper of Mansfield, Ohio, and Annie Reidman of Freemont, Ohio; three brothers, Roland Loper of Greenup, Herb Loper, of Okeechobee, Fla, and Willie French of Owensville, Ky. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2006 at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland. Burial will be in the Caroline Cemetery in Raceland. Friends may call from 6- to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
