William H. Cochran was born 14 Sep 1843 in Portsmouth, Scioto County, OH,
son of Andrew Jackson Cochran and Martha "Millie" Funk. He was Civil
War Veteran in the
140th OH National Guard Infantry. William married Virginia "Jennie"
Cook, daughter of John A. Cook and Sarah J. Smith on 29 Aug 1869 in
Greenup County, KY. William died on 16 Jan 1917 in Greenup County, KY.
