Photograph of a Band

Early in the last century, John E. Stormes had a band that held Sunday afternoon concerts in the middle of the public square. I recall that the band is mentioned in his obituary. I do not know what instrument he played, but he is probably in this picture. His band is the only band that I saw mentioned in Lancaster. Mrs. Storms also founded a "literary society" at about the same time. My mother was a member of that society.
