Mary Anderson Born 1851 in Grayson Co., VA and moved to Jessamine and then Garrard counties during the Civil War. She married Mike Simpson 1874, and was the only one that stayed in Kentucky. The rest of her family moved on to Ellis Co., Texas, although her Stamper grandparents stayed in Kentucky along with her aunt and uncle, Margaret and Eligh Anderson.
