James Edward Hurt Son of Iva Dale Simpson and Jesse Hurt Served in the 4th Marines during WWII, fought on Roi-Namur, Saipan, Tinian and wounded on Iwo Jima. Buried at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Born 4 Oct 1923 Garrard Co. and died 18 Apr 1989 Fayette Co. Contributed by Sandy Norris.
