A controversy over an old debt yesterday ended fatally for Jessee Brock, 55-year-old farmer, who was shot to death by Bynun Davis, 50, another farmer. The shooting occurred at Cartersville, twelve miles east of here.

After the shooting, DAVIS surrendered to Sheriff Tom Ballard and was charged with manslaughter. He was released under $2,500 bond to appear at his examining trial, which will be held here Nov. 10.

BROCK is survived by his wife and seven children."
