THIS INDENTURE made this 14th day of Octr in the year 1810 between WILLIAM BROWN as Executor of SAMUEL SCOTT Deceas'd of the county of Garrard and State of Kentucky of the one part and JOSEPH HEDDRICK of the county and state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said William for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and ninety six pounds current money of Kentucky to him the said William in hand paid by the said Joseph the receipt whereof he the said William doth hereby acknowledge hath this day granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Joseph a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the said County of Garrard on the sinking branch containing by survey ninety eight acres and bounded as follows to wit, beginning at a stump in the road leading from thence south of Hickenson to James Hogans therewith Thomas Wilson west 110 poles to a Walnut a corner to Samuel Mullins therewith Mullins south 182 poles to a stake on a branch thence up said branch N23E33 poles N55E50 to a sugar tree not farm from the Hickman road thence with meanders of said road N8E50 poles thence north 10E52 poles to the beginning to have and to hold the said granted and bargained land unto the said Joseph his heirs and assignees forever to his and their only ______ and behoof and the said William as Executor of the above named SAMUEL SCOTT, Dis'd doth covenant and agree to and with said Joseph his heirs that he the said William as Executor ___ to the said granted and bargained with its appurtinances unto the said Joseph his heirs Executors administrators and assigns forever against the claim of himself and the Collateral heirs of the said SAMUEL SCOTT Decedent and against the legal claim or claims of all and every other person or persons Whatsoever. In Testimony whereof he the said WILLIAM BROWN as Executor of the said SAMUEL SCOTT, Des'd had hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above written.

GARRARD COUNTY Sct. I hereby certify that this Indenture of bargain and sale from Wm Brown Executor of Saml Scott Des'd to Joseph Headrick was acknowledged before me in my office the 14th April 1810 and the same is admitted to Record.
